  • GoTV Latin Music channel launches on AT&T, planned for Sprint

    GoTV has just signed on to provide mobile video content for AT&T, adding to the carrier’s mobile content offerings. The latin music channel, ES Música will serve up made-for-mobile video content in snippets that offer video countdowns, tour documentaries, and artist profiles - as well as a variety of latin music. Reuters reports that “A reality series following an artist is also in development.” GoTV is also planning to launch ES Música on Sprint’s network by end of the August. If you’ve got a hankerin’ for some latino-flava, head on over to AT&T or Sprint and get set for some latin mobile-content. Or, you know, brush up on all that Spanish you learned in high school.   • Discovery Channel and Animal Planet launch mobile video-content in UK - part of Vodafone and Orange Sky Mobile service

    There’s nothing like watching a bunch of melodramatic bike builders and graphic shark attacks to help you relax on your lunch break. We can’t get enough of the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet’s mesmerizing programming, and it seems that the UK feels the same. Lucky UK subscribers on Vodafone or Orange networks will soon be seeing new mobile-content from Discovery Networks - Discovery Turbo (Discover Channel’s mobile-content channel) and the Animal Planet. The mobile video-content will be offered through Vodafone and Orange’s Sky Mobile service. Discovery Turbo will be serving up 20-minute clips of shows like The Garage and American Chopper - the shows will be updated every weekday and served on-demand. The Animal Planet will be offering one hour’s worth of short segments per week (from shows like Meerkat Manor and Crocodile Hunter Diaries ) - updated weekly and on-demand .
