  • Nokia 6263 spotted hiding out at the FCC with T-Mobile 3G compatible 1700Mhz band

With T-Mobile set to launch their highly-anticipated 3G network here in The States, manufacturers are quietly scrambling to get their handsets revised to take advantage of the odd-ball 1700Mhz 3G band that T-Mobile will be using. The latest such iteration is the Nokia 6263 that has been spotted on the FCC website with the glorious T-Mobile 3G frequency (1700Mhz) printed on it’s FCC test pages. As we mentioned before, the Nokia 6263 will be packin’ a mid-range feature-set. It looks like the 2 megapixel camera and A2DP Bluetooth-toting 6263 will finally be making its way to the US. We can only imagine that the FCC ’s green-lighting of the 6263 means that it will be made available as soon as T-Mobile goes live with its 3G service.
