Applications platform provider Exclaim announced an agreement to spin off its Web-based photo sharing service dotPhoto in order to exclusively focus on the branded wireless applications market. Per terms of the deal, dotPhoto co-founder Glenn Paul will take ownership of dotPhoto, with president and CEO Ivan Ruzic continuing to lead Exclaim. The company will now shift its efforts to Pictavision DMM, a user-generated, content exchange platform marketed to wireless carriers and handset vendors, as well as its MyApps suite, which offers mobile applications including MyHoroscope, MyLovesigns, MyFuture, MyFaith, and MyLaughtones.
