  • LG Incite for sale on AT&T's site, $199.99 on contract

Filed under: Handsets , LG , ATT , Windows Mobile , GSM , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS Goodness, that was quick! We'd expected LG's Incite smartphone to pop up maybe by the end of the week if we were lucky, did all of our homework, and went to bed on time, but AT&T's gone ahead and jumped the gun by throwing up the glossy touchphone for sale already. To recap, most of the rumored specs were spot on: wide QVGA, 3-megapixel cam, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, WiFi, and GPS round out a promising feature set, but you're going to pay to the tune of $299.99 on contract before a $100 mail-in rebate on a Visa gift card. What happened to good, old-fashioned cash? [Thanks, Luis] LG Incite for sale on AT&T's site, $199.99 on contract originally appeared on Engadget Mobile on Tue, 18 Nov 2008 01:19:00 EST. • AT&T adds LG Invision to Mobile TV lineup

Filed under: Handsets , Multimedia , LG , ATT , GSM , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS Just as we'd envisioned , the Invision candybar (if a phone this stubby can, in fact, be called a candybar) from LG is now a reality for AT&T. The phone becomes just AT&T's third to support its MediaFLO -based Mobile TV service, taking a similar line to Samsung's Access by stuffing a landscape display, 1.3-megapixel camera, and HSDPA into a squarish case that's sure to make minimalists and traditionalists swoon; what's more, it also takes the honor of being AT&T's smallest Mobile TV-equipped handset to date. It's available today for $99.99 with a $50 rebate and two years' worth of commitment -- just be sure to factor the cost of the Mobile TV add-on into your budget. • Video: AT&T launching Mobile TV May 4th, demonstrated on LG Vu

Filed under: Handsets , Multimedia , LG , Samsung , ATT MediaFLO is about to cut loose for AT&T customers this morning and we've got video to prove it. After the break you'll find Mobile TV running on LG's new $300 (2-year, after $100 rebate) Vu, one of just two Mobile TV compatible handsets launching on AT&T May 4th -- the other being the $200 (2-year, after $100 rebate) Samsung Access . Performance looks reasonably snappy when scrolling through the channel guide although some of the exclusive PIX and CNN Mobile Live content is not yet available. S'ok, AT&T has three more days to throw the big blue switch on the broadcast TV service which includes a $15/month unlimited Mobile TV access plan. Hear that Verizon? AT&T's about to step all over your portable TV game in the US market. • LG Vus popping up in AT&T stores ahead of launch

Filed under: Handsets , LG , ATT , GSM , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS Stores have started stocking up on Vus ahead of their launch next week, and we're getting a little photography here to prove it. It looks like this one is an honest-to-goodness CU920, too, meaning it sports MediaFLO reception -- either that, or AT&T was too lazy to put the Mobile TV-less CU915 model in a different package without the "TV" icon on the screen. We're still hearing May 5 is the official launch day for these, but it seems some locations are selling early, so try your luck and let us know how it goes, k? • AT&T announces AT&T Mobile TV for May launch

Filed under: Handsets , Multimedia , LG , Samsung , ATT They haven't revealed anything we didn't already know , but AT&T's finally come out with a semi-firm date for the launch of its MediaFLO-powered mobile TV service which will be branded simply as "AT&T Mobile TV." It'll be available to subscribers in May -- no specific date just yet -- on two exclusive handsets, the Prada-esque LG Vu and the more pedestrian Samsung Access ; the Vu features an expansive touchscreen and 2 megapixel camera, while the Access makes do with a smaller landscape display and a 1.3 megapixel sensor. Both feature Bluetooth and 3G data, but the real story here is Mobile TV itself, which will come with two new channels that are exclusive to AT&T (in other words, unavailable on the other live MediaFLO service, VCAST TV from Verizon). The latest, hottest way to burn productivity on the go gets real in just a few short weeks, folks, so finish up whatever remaining work you have now . • AT&T launching LG CU575 "Trax" HSDPA musicphone later today

Filed under: Handsets , LG , ATT , GSM , GPRS , EDGE , HSDPA , UMTS With those last minute bugs now apparently eradicated, LG has officially announced plans to deliver their 3G CU575 "Trax" clamshell to AT&T. Touting 850/1900MHz HSDPA 3.6Mbps-capable downloads and quad-band GSM, this flip fancies itself a part-time media player with the inclusion of a Touch Pad bar and up to 4GB of microSD expansion for your AAC, MP3, and WMA music files. Still no word from AT&T but we expect the announcement later today with all the pricing detail you crave.
