HTC's new Advantage X7510 is a Windows Mobile smartphone of its own category. While it features Microsoft's recently released Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone OS it's design-wise quite unique, featuring a flat touch-sensitive QWERTY keyboard with haptic feedback which can be attached to the main body using a magnetic mechanism. The device features a huge 5" touchscreen and features, in addition to its 128 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM 16 GB solid state disk storage. With the X7510, HTC removed the 5-way navigation joystick as well as the Start and OK keys from the main body but the device has now used with the stylus or thumb (or with the attached keyboard). Following HTC's earlier HTC Advantage X7510 announcement from last February, I've recently received HTC's latest reincarnation of the HTC Advantage which now features Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, an increased 16 GB solid state disk storage and an improved keyboard with haptic feedback. The updated HTC Advantage includes HTC's customized HTC Today screen, as seen first with the HTC Touch, that provides one-touch access to E-Mails, SMS text messages, missed calls, calendar appointments and contacts, current weather conditions and forecasts as well it now features HTC's TouchFLO software for enhanced finger touch scrolling and browsing of Web pages.
