People in the U.S. (and I guess around the world) are getting more annoyed with mobile phones interruptions on the bus, train, restaurant or cinema - hence they’re turning to handheld jamming devices that can cut off a call signal at the click of a button. Apparently, cell signal jam device retailers are receiving hundreds of orders every month and that’s alarming to the carriers, which basically can’t do much about it. The technology is everything but new, but the popularity of such devices is growing especially after the introduction of pocket-sized jammers.
