As expected and unveiled two weeks ago already, O2 Germany today announced the upcoming launch of its HTC Touch Diamond version which O2 will call the "O2 Xda diamond". O2's diamond is also running on Microsoft's recently announced Windows Mobile 6.1 and will feature triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA at 900/2100 MHz up to 3.6 Mbps plus HSUPA (even if O2 Germany doesn't have HSUPA in place today). Powered by a Qualcomm CPU at 528 MHz, the Xda diamond also features Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi b/g, eGPS and a FM radio. The device is backed-up by 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM and includes 4 GB flash memory. However, a flash card expansion is left - unfortunately: [ Permalink ] (c) 2008 by the::unwired - All Rights Reserved
