Sports Illustrated Digital announced an agreement with on-device portal solutions developer Action Engine to launch MySI Mobile, a downloadable mobile application promising personalized sports content from the SI.com website. Released to coincide with the NCAA's annual March Madness basketball tournament, the ad-subsidized MySI Mobile app--developed via the Action Engine Mobile Application Platform--enables sports fans to select and track scores, schedules and standings for their favorite teams as well as view photos from Sports Illustrated magazine, read breaking sports news and set calendar alerts for upcoming tilts. Beyond college basketball, MySI Mobile coverage extends across the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB as well as college football. The application is now available across 29 Windows Mobile-based devices--Windows Mobile is also the exclusive launch advertiser.
