After
the short
video demo we had yesterday, this morning I had some more quality time to
get my hands on a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, Sony Ericsson's brand new and much
anticipated Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone. You've
seen the specs already, so it's time for a first hand experience. The XPERIA
X1 feels good and even if it was a prototype only, it's feeling rocking solid.
The opened device is well balanced to hold it and use the semi-sliding keyboard and the
keyboard size seems to be good enough to even type some longer E-Mails.
As of today, it looks like, Sony Ericsson isn't using the kind of frameless "bio
touch" display as HTC uses for its Touch devices but this screen reminds more on
a classic Windows Mobile touchscreen as we had it before with the HP iPAQs but
now, let us have a look:
