First of all, let’s look at China:

Apparently it is looking more likely that the ’standard’ is going to be CMMB (for a list of the various Mobile TV standards, look here) - SARFT is so confident their ’standard’ will be chosen, they are pressing on with deployment in 37 (!) major cities in China.

Next, let’s check out Hungary:

Nokia, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and Antenna Hungaria are jointly launching trial Mobile TV services, based on DVB-H. Apparently the current trial is running on an NSN (Nokia-Siemens Network) platform, with the Nokia N77 and N92 handsets - the trial is due to complete at the end of January (2008). There is also the issue of inviting frequency tenders, but this will likely be solved in the first half of the year.
