The other week, I wrote about the movie Breach, which chronicles the last months of the career of Robert Hanssen, the worst spy in American history in terms of the damage he did to the United States. For 20 years he spied for the USSR and later the Russian republic from inside the FBI, for much of that time while head of the bureau's counterespionage unit. He cost the lives of at least two and probably several more Russians who were spying for the United States and compromised some of our most secret plans, including where the President, Vice President and Congress would be relocated to in a nuclear war.
