The PDA Guerilla: Gifts part 2: The Hewlett-Packard rx5915 PDA

The second item on my gift list is for high-end PDA users and those aspiring to that status. Hewlett-Packard's latest iPAQ, the rx5915 Travel Companion, is so new it is just coming on the market. And it is the next generation in pure PDAs, combining office functionality with advanced entertainment options and built-in GPS.

This device combines Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS (using the TomTom technology) with maps preinstalled in memory, so that while it supports SD cards you do not need one for the GPS. It also has streaming audio and video fully integrated into the device, accessible using function buttons on the side of the device. It runs Windows Mobile and comes with Pocket Office software built in as well, making it a serious productivity tool.
